Take Your CPA Marketing to the Next Level

Once you’ve started promoting CPA offers and you’re having some success, it’s time to start thinking about moving to the next level. There are some simple and some more complex things you can do to drive up both your efficiency and your effectiveness. In this article you’ll find just a few of my ideas to get you moving to a higher level.

Firstly, you’ll want to make you sure you are receiving the maximum payout for each offer. Use a site like OfferVault.com, which monitors the difference in payouts for the same offers posted on various networks. Do you have a good relationship with the networks you are promoting for? Many companies will set up special agreements for higher-than-average percentages. This can be surprisingly easy- just ask! Make sure you build rapport with those account managers and try to drive deals for the volume of leads you can produce. Most networks will be very open to this sort of discussion as it’s a win-win.

Next, focus on those things within your business that get the most from your time – and be relentless in sticking to that aim! Consider outsourcing some of your more repetitive tasks. Things like article writing, blog writing, SEO optimization, and web design can be effectively outsourced. Using places like elance.com, scriptlance.com, and Odesk.com can be a good start to finding freelancers who are willing to do this work. This should leave your time free to focus and expand on what is working for you – cut out the things that aren’t, replicate and expand on those that are – thereby increasing your profitability and hopefully, working less.

Another very important strategy to increase your efficiency is to scrutinize your campaigns to see which ones convert and which ones don’t. While doing this, be aware of the 80/20 rule. This means simply, that, on average, 20 percent of your campaigns will be generating 80 percent ofyour income. In the same vein, it’s likely that 80 percent of your campaigns will not be converting effectively, so changes will be needed. That doesn’t mean just dropping those campaigns, as sometimes just the smallest of differences can make the difference between break-even and profit.

If you are able to devote all of your time to campaigns that you know are successful, your income will increase, even though you won’t be working any harder – just smarter. By looking for ways to continually improve your efficiency, you’ll set yourself apart from the people who dabble in CPA marketing and never excel, and become one of those who stands out.

If you follow the above steps, you should see an increase in your efficiency and profitability, and become a CPA marketing success story!
